Aeros Racing partnered with the Junior Board of the American India Foundation to turn retired pit display vinyl into pouches for students in India.
For our Vinyl Upcycling event, we teamed up with the Junior Board of the American India Foundation (Jr. AIF), a local nonprofit, to give old pit display vinyl a second act as something people could actually use. It turned out to be one of those rare projects that helps in three directions at once — the environment, the local economy, and a community of students halfway around the world.
Upcycle 5 retired vinyl banners from past pit displays instead of letting them go to waste.
Alongside Jr. AIF's Junior Board, we cut down and resewed the old banners into functional zippered pouches — hands-on work that turned a stack of used competition vinyl into something new.
Every banner we reused was material that didn't need to be manufactured from scratch, cutting the resource use and emissions tied to producing something new. From there, Jr. AIF carried the impact further: the finished pouches went to underserved students in India, turning old vinyl into a small, real boost for their access to education.
